Our Story
Peluche Volleyball Apparel started way back in 1992 as a local brand in PR but wasn't fully developed then—"for the record, it never stopped, it just took a 33-year vacation". But now, we are back and stronger than ever.
At Peluche Volleyball Apparel, we’re more than just a clothing brand—we’re a community built by and for volleyball players. Our journey started with a simple goal: to create high-quality, stylish, and performance-driven gear that represents the passion we have for the game. Whether you’re competing on the court, cheering from the sidelines, or rocking volleyball-inspired streetwear, we want you to feel connected to the sport you love.
We believe that volleyball isn’t just a game—it’s a lifestyle. And while we take our designs and quality seriously, we’ve always loved putting some humor into the sport. From clever, volleyball-themed graphics to fun, relatable designs, we want to bring a little extra joy to the game we all love.
That’s why we create everything with the perfect blend of functionality, comfort, and style. From competitive volleyball gear to casual apparel and accessories, we’re here to serve players, fans, and teams who live and breathe volleyball.
Join us as we grow, innovate, and continue to bring the volleyball community together—one piece of apparel at a time.
Peluche (peh-LOO-chay) [noun]
Traditional Meaning: A soft, plush toy, often cuddly and comforting.
Volleyball Slang (Alternate Meaning): A powerful spike that hits an opponent directly in the face or upper body, often leaving a stunned reaction—akin to the way a plush toy might unexpectedly land on someone.
Origin & Usage: Borrowed from the French and Spanish word peluche (meaning plush or stuffed toy), this term humorously contrasts the softness of a toy with the brutal impact of a volleyball "six-pack." Players might say, "That was a nasty peluche! He didn’t even see it coming!"
